01

What is Primary Schools ICT?

A school-embedded, curriculum-aligned digital-literacy and coding program for P1–P7 learners. Delivered during school hours by CAU-certified instructors, it builds computational thinking and foundational programming skills age-appropriately.

02

How the Program Works

Schools subscribe on a per-term basis. CAU provides a dedicated instructor who visits weekly, delivers structured lessons aligned to Uganda's competency-based framework, and reports learner progress at each term end.

03

Why Schools Choose It

Primary schools adopt this program to move ICT beyond theory and into practical learner capability. It helps schools strengthen their academic offer, demonstrate innovation to parents, and give learners structured exposure to digital tools, responsible online behavior, and foundational productivity skills from an early stage.

04

Designed for Early Digital Confidence

The program is intentionally paced for younger learners. Instead of overwhelming students with abstract computing language, it introduces digital habits through guided practice, simple workflows, and progressively deeper exposure to core ICT tools used in school and real life.

05

School Delivery Model

CAU works with school leadership to fit delivery into the existing timetable. Sessions can be organized by grade band, stream, or rotating cohorts depending on lab capacity, school calendar, and staffing realities. This makes the program easier to adopt without disrupting the wider academic schedule.

06

Outcomes Parents and Schools Can See

Schools benefit from visible learner progress in confidence, basic productivity, online behavior, digital vocabulary, and practical use of ICT tools. Parents see value in a program that prepares children for the digital world while still remaining structured, age-appropriate, and school-aligned.
